"When Majid was diagnosed with thalassemia major at 18 months, our world fell apart. Every month, we watched our little boy endure transfusions, knowing this would be his life forever. We couldn't afford private treatment, let alone dream of a cure."
Majid's family discovered H2F in 2022. With comprehensive care including regular transfusions, chelation therapy, and nutrition support, Majid stabilized. When he became eligible for a bone marrow transplant, H2F's BMT Support Program stepped in to cover the costs.
In early 2024, Majid received a successful transplant from his matched sibling donor. After months of careful post-transplant care, he was declared cured. Today, Majid attends school, plays with friends, and dreams of becoming a doctor.
